SRA Bible Study held each Tuesday

Our Senior Adult Ministry is based on the Scripture “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth much fruit” (Psalm 1:3). Our senior adults contribute much to the life of our church and community, and our Senior Adult Ministry offers a variety of avenues of ministry and service.

We also offer special times of study, fellowship, and travel. Our ministry includes very active senior adults all the way to those who are now homebound. Senior adults are valued at First Baptist Church, as are their wisdom and experience.

What You Need to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Besides our weekly Sunday School classes and Tuesday Senior Adult Bible Study, we have several fun events available for Senior Adults.  We have a monthly covered-dish dinner with live entertainment as well a few short trips throughout the year.  There are also opportunities to serve in different ministries throughout the church.

We do not offer group transportation at this time.

We understand that plans change and calendars can get full.  Our weekly Bible study for Senior Adults has notes affiliated with each week’s study that can be made available to you upon request.  Just reach out to the Shanna Ketchum ([email protected]) in the Senior Adult office and she will get you what you need.
