Step inside our classrooms, and you’ll see loving volunteers ready to hold, rock, dance and sing with your little ones. We integrate singing, stories, crafts and movement into our classrooms to help teach about the truths of the Gospel.

All our volunteers fill out an application and submit to a background check to ensure safety and security in our classrooms.

Preschool Pre-registration

Registration for Sunday and Wednesday activities is located in the foyer of our Preschool area known as the Fish Tank Foyer due to the HUMONGOUS fish tank  available in this area for little eyes to look at while parents get them signed in to their age-appropriate classroom.  We have plenty of volunteers who will help you get your little one checked-in and settled so that you, and your child, can have a sweet time of worship.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For babies: two diapers, two pre-filled bottles, and a lovie of your choice.  All of these items should be in a clear ziploc-style bag.  We do have some of these bags at check-in stations if you need one.
  • For two-years-old through kindergarten: a no-spill thermos is allowed as well a as a lovie of their choice.

Our classes are closely age graded.  We have an age-grade chart that will determine which classroom your child will go to according to his or her date of birth. He or she will be with other children close to their age. See chart below.

We know it can be scary for little ones to come to a new place and thus tears are to be expected.  However, if a child is inconsolable after ten minutes of crying, we will text you to let you know what is happening in the room and ask that you come to check on your child.  If your little one settles down and your feel comfortable, the child may return to the classroom.

Arrival time is fifteen minutes prior to any event.

  • Sunday School arrival time: 9:00 a.m.
  • Worship Service arrival time: 10:15 a.m.
  • Wednesday Night arrival time: 5:45 p.m.
  • Membership Class arrival time: 4:45 p.m.

We recommend that babies come after they have had their first round of shots.

We are located on the west side of the building near the West Foyer.  Greeters will help you find the Fish Tank Foyer.  Once you arrive, you will check in at a computer station with assistance from a Preschool Ministry helper. You will receive printed name and security pick-up tags for each child you register.  The name tag goes on the child’s back.  The security pick-up tag will remain with you to use as verification that you are the party responsible for picking the child up from the Preschool area. (The number on the security tag must match the child’s name tag in order for him or her to be released.  If you misplace your security tag, please see a Ministry leader for help.) Once checked in, you will walk your preschooler to his or her classroom.  This information will be visible on the check-in screen as well as the child’s printed tags. If you have any special instructions for the leaders in your child’s classroom you may share that upon arrival.

Our classrooms are child-centered environments focused on Christ.  Our curriculum is designed to encourage growth in spiritual, physical, mental, and relational areas of a preschooler’s life.

While in the classroom, preschoolers will:

  • Be welcomed
  • Play in learning centers
  • Hear a Bible story
  • Enjoy music-related activities
  • Have a snack during the Worship service hour
  • Weather permitting – play time on the outdoor playground

Your preschoolers can join us on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. for Sunday School or 10:30 a.m. for the Worship Hour. We also provide mid-week childcare on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
